GLASGOW CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
As a part of God's universal church, we have but one mission; and that is to see people saved. It is a mission that we accept boldly, as we proclaim the name of Jesus. God has called His church to reach out to the hurting, those without hope, and to the lost. And that is exactly what we intend to do. Through prayer and by putting feet to our words. We are taking the message of hope into our community.
We believe that the same JESUS that changed us, can change anyone !
Our purpose is to reach unchurched people just like you. When you feel like the whole world is against you, and you feel like giving up; we want you to know that there is HOPE for you.
Through the power of JESUS CHRIST , the promises of God become realities in your life. With a simple prayer, you could change forever. By simply trusting Jesus, and asking him into your heart, you can have a new life. Freedom from the addictions, the pain and the hurt. You can find a real friend in JESUS. He will never leave or disappoint you.
Because we believe in you, we are prepared to do whatever it takes to introduce you to the life changing grace of JESUS CHRIST. We want you to know that we are here for you and we are excited about growing a church that is able to meet the needs of the people of Glasgow and our surrounding communities.

District Assembly & Conventions, August 4-8, 2008
These annual events will take place from Monday, August 4th. through Friday, August 8th. NYI Convention is on monday @ 8:30 AM, followed by the SS Rally @ 7:30 PM. The SS Convention will be on Tuesday @ 8:30 AM, followed by the Missions Rally on Tuesday @ 7:30 PM. Then the NMI Convention will take place on Weds. beginning @ 8:30 AM. District Assembly will begin on Thursday @ 8:30 AM, and conclude on Friday, August 8th., at the end of all business. Family Camp- August 10-17, 2008
Will take place beginnig Sunday, August 10th. with Sunday School @ 9:30 AM, followed by the worship service @ 10:30. Singspiration will take place @ 2 PM. The evening service will be at 6 PM. Then each day, Prayer Service will begin @ 7 AM, followed by the People's Service @ 9 AM. Morning Service @ 10, followed by evening services @ 7 PM. Speakers for this year are Dr. Morman Moore and Gary Bond. with special singers Don & Shryl Gessner. September 6th. - 2nd. Annual Block Party
This year's event is scheduled to bring games, gospel singers, and lots of food. Last year's event was a huge success and everything was provided absolutely free of charge. Make plans now to attend this church outreach event. |
